The Intense Intestiens Foundation is dedicated to helping others with Inflammatory Bowel Disease. These diseases have a stigma around them and in many situations it's hard for those that deal with Crohn's and colitis to discuss what they are going through. Thats why we created Intense Intestines Social.
I.I.S. is a social network similar to Facebook where a member can create a profile, become friends with others that have an IBD, share blogs and pictures and become members of subgroups and forums.
Many times it's easier for those with an Inflammatory Bowel Disease to talk with others who are going through the same things and having to deal with the same situation on a daily basis. I.I.S. hopes to bring IBD patients together, allow them to know that they aren't alone and cope with their IBD better by building a network around them.
